Bats in the belfry...oh golly! Bats in the belfry...oooo! Bats in the belfry oh my golly! Comin' for to feed on you! I met a bat in Nashvylvania when I went a wanderin' there With big red eyes and fangs like a demon Gave me quite a scare I said, "Sir do you know a place to go Where a beast can Rest in Peace?" He uncurled a claw and pointed yonder To the graveyard down the street Bats in the belfry... I met a bat in the monster jail But I might've been seeing things Kinda like a shadow, kinda like a man It's hard to tell when you're InSaNe. Told me of a feller who was down and out But then one Halloween... He got a treat when a doctor from the looney bin Scooped out part of his brain! I ain't been the same since Halloween When they locked me down in here With all the bats in my belfry and my padded cell I ain't never leavin' here.

One foggy night When the moon was bright As I was walking a winding road My bones were tired So I made up a fire while my stomach groaned I cooked up some beans And kicked up my feet When I seen something in the dark 'twas a hobo the strolled Down the road. The look on his face was stark. He said, "I've seen some things you'd never believe in this dark and doomy forest. I'll sing you a verse (if you'll feed me, of course) about a creature so abhorrent" It began to rain He began to sing As my fire grew ever dimmer It was hard to hear And I found it weird He never touched his dinner. The winds then cried And my fire died And the song began to fade I couldn't see In front of me But I heard him all the same. He said, "I've seen some things you'd never believe in this dark and doomy forest. I'll sing you a verse (if you'll feed me, of course) about a creature so abhorrent" "Beware the wanderin' wolfman Who stalks during nights like these Beware the wanderin' wolfman With claws and fangs and fleas" In the dark The clouds did part and revealed a moon so full My mind filled with fear My body is scared and my blood begins to run cold Transformation begins! I'm feeling my skin Rip and turn into fur! Blood, guts, and screams as I open his veins with my FANGS and it's all a blur "I've seen some things you'd never believe in this dark and doomy forest. I'll sing you a verse (if you'll feed me, of course) about a creature so abhorrent" "Beware the wanderin' wolfman Who stalks during nights like these Beware the wanderin' wolfman With claws and fangs and fleas"

'Twas in autumn my lady did fall Like the leaves to the ground as embers Her body grew cold as the wind which blowed through the trees that September That night as I wept for my love Whom I buried quite sorely before me A sound so faint did me awake From beyond my bed chamber doorway "Rattle-tee-tum Rattle-tee-tee" Like the sound of her jewelry "OoO wAh OoO!" It cannot be... for i buried her on a Tuesday. The clatter creeps closer Through my darkened room and the scent of roses and soil I canst nearly see what's in front of me Through the air black as oil Now 'tis rattling by my bed Distinctly, i know 'tis her necklace She's come to avenge her lover who killed her Soon, I too, will be headless! "Rattle-tee-tum Rattle-tee-tee" Like the sound of her jewelry "OoO wAh OoO!" It cannot be... for i buried her on a Tuesday.

There's some ghosts in this house... 3 am...down the hallway, I hear the creaking of a rusty hinge. It's Mary...she was a pretty lady But on the day of her wedding... She fell on a knife And then she died. Now in the night, There's some ghosts in this house. Orbs float down the twisting staircase Where a boy played a long time ago One day, he didn't tie his shoelace And met his sad fate.... When he fell on a knife And he died. Now in the night, There's some ghosts in this house Old man Jim was a religious zealot with a lot of skeletons Hidden away He'd say, "you gotta suffer for your faith" So then one day... He fell on a knife And he died Now in the night, There's some ghosts in this house

Lord, I hear that howling wind Just a'whipping through the trees There's a cold chill coming from beyond the grave and I know it's a'comin' for me How kindly I was to my brothers and sisters in this town Who barely knew me, til eventually I'd bury 'em in the ground I take your loved ones from the morgue Now they're my loved ones, too! I cut em open with a big ol' knife and pump 'em full of goo OOooOO mmMMM Who's gonna dig my grave? I loved a woman cold as ice And rigid as a walkin' cane I'd take her dancing in the night Underneath the promenade And I had a best friend long ago Stayed dressed to the nines. He's even in his coat and tails In that box of pine At night they call my name from down in the cold cold ground where they lay But tonight I'm dyin' and I'll be reunited With my friends I left in the grave. OOooo MMMmm Who's gonna dig my grave? Now the lights are going out And I hear the hounds of hell My soul with burn for the things i done and my body will rot and swell. My eyeballs will be eaten up By worms inside my tomb All alone, I'll decompose Into a stinking ooze I reckon I'm lucky to rot like this I reckon it's a mighty good end I'd hate to have done to me What I done to my friends OOoooOO MMmmmMM Who's gonna dig my grave?

Oh my dark lord I'm hungry again. Oh my dark lord I'm hungry again. Took my crypt...and they took my kin. Oh my dark lord, what do I do? Oh my dark lord, what do i do? I'd do anything for a pint or two. Bring me my thrall, she's a mighty good gal Bring me my thrall, she's a mighty good gal She's a sober woman...I drink from her like a cow! I miss that woman, now she's repossessed I miss that woman, now she's repossessed Possessed by demons, if I had to guess The devil gave me a cup and said, "Sip away!" The devil gave me a cup and said, "Sip away!" That devil blood got a proof of 108. Oh my dark lord, what have i done Oh my dark lord, what have i done I'll be flying drunk, but oh dark lord, that's fun.

about

You idiots don't know what you like, I do. Here's some REAL orthodox halloween fright rock written by legends of the genre and performed by a legend of the genre. Clowns are not scary...werewolves and ghosts and vampyes are.
